Golden Mile Resources (ASX:G88) strikes high-grade copper, silver, and zinc at Pearl Copper Project, Arizona

Golden Mile Resources (ASX:G88) has unveiled highly promising results from first-pass rock chip sampling at its Pearl Copper Project in Arizona, with exceptional grades of silver, copper, and zinc at the Odyssey prospect.

These results position the project as a standout in the already prolific Laramide Porphyry Copper Province.

Golden Mile Resources Managing Director, Damon Dormer, remarked, “These results – with exceptional high grades of copper, silver, and zinc – not only broaden the mineralisation potential of the Odyssey Prospect but also provide increased confidence for additional prospects within the Pearl Project area.”

Dormer’s statement underscores the potential for the Odyssey prospect to yield a wealth of new opportunities, especially as the project has yet to see any drilling.

The company’s exploration has been focused and strategic, with 10 out of 14 rock chip samples collected over a 400m strike length returning silver assays above 30 g/t, and 12 showing copper content exceeding 1.5%.

Visible copper minerals, such as malachite and chrysocolla, further support the potential for broad-scale mineralisation, while the initial assays suggest significant room for expansion at the Odyssey prospect.

The surface mineralisation stretches over 800m, featuring multiple extensional veins. Given these promising indicators, Golden Mile is actively advancing its maiden drilling program, pending governmental approvals.

Further mapping and sampling will fine-tune the drill targets, setting the stage for what could be a transformative discovery.

Located in Arizona’s San Manuel mining district, the Pearl Copper Project benefits from a Tier 1 mining jurisdiction and proximity to world-class infrastructure.

Dormer aptly noted, “By any measure, these are exciting results,” suggesting that the company’s methodical approach to exploration could soon pay off with a significant discovery.

With additional geochemical and geophysical surveys on the horizon, Golden Mile is well-positioned to capitalise on these early successes, marking Pearl as a project to watch.

As always, investors should take these promising results as a signal of potential rather than a guarantee of success. Further exploration will determine the full scale of this opportunity
