GoldArc Resources (ASX:GA8) reports gold trends at Yttria
GoldArc Resources has reported results from an 11,010m aircore drilling program completed at the Yttria prospect within its Leonora North project in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia.
The program identified 2 gold mineralised corridors extending for more than 600m, both of which remain open to the south and are located outside Yttria's existing rare earth element Mineral Resource.
The drilling targeted broad low grade gold anomalies identified during previous exploration that had originally focused on rare earth elements, yttrium and scandium.

RC drilling at Yttria is planned following the approximately 5,500m RC program at Mt Stirling, scheduled to commence in early August 2026.
Yttria hosts a JORC Mineral Resource Estimate of 15Mt at 490ppm TREO for rare earth element mineralisation.
GoldArc said previous drilling campaigns at the prospect were directed towards rare earth elements, yttrium and scandium, while the current aircore program targeted broad low grade gold anomalies identified during that work.
The drilling program comprised 363 aircore holes for 11,010m completed along 14 drill lines.
Line spacing ranged from 80m to approximately 200m, with holes spaced at a nominal 20m to 30m and drilled to refusal.
Hole depths ranged from 1m to 83m, averaging 27.6m, with samples generally collected as 4m composites, while bottom of hole samples were collected over 1m intervals and analysed for a suite of 60 elements.
Representative gold intercepts, reported using a nominal 0.1g/t Au lower cut off, included 11m at 0.330g/t Au from 32m in YAC172, 4m at 0.950g/t Au from 16m in YAC341, 4m at 0.609g/t Au from 20m in YAC174, 4m at 0.522g/t Au from 20m in YAC131 and 4m at 0.506g/t Au from 12m in YAC190.
GoldArc reported that gold mineralisation was generally associated with a deeper weathering profile and, in some places, minor quartz veining.
The company also said mineralised holes were coincident with arsenic and tungsten, which it described as the pathfinder suite associated with gold mineralisation at the 137,000oz Mt Stirling deposit, and stated that this supports a genetically related system.
GoldArc Managing Director Paul Stephen said,
"This 11,000m aircore program is our first systematic test of gold potential at Yttria, and it has already located two mineralised corridors over 600m long, each open to the south."
The company reports a total JORC gold Mineral Resource of 3.437Mt at 1.82g/t Au for 200,014oz across its Leonora North and Leonora South projects, comprising resources at Mt Stirling, Stirling Well, Orion and Sapphire.
The company's next planned activities are to receive final assay results from Stirling Well, commence an approximately 5,500m RC drilling program around the Mt Stirling deposits in early August 2026, and complete follow up RC drilling at Yttria to test for higher grade zones at depth and along the open southern strike extent.
