Dreadnought (ASX:DRE) reap gold from Metzke’s Find

Dreadnought Resources have brought in an initial resource from the high-grade near surface gold at its Metzke’s Find deposit, part of a wholly owned Central Yilgarn Project in Western Australia.

It is only the starting point for Central Yilgarn, with a detailed review now underway as Dreadnought move on making new discoveries of nickel and gold across the Illaara, Yerilgee, Evanston and South Elvire greenstone belts within a highly prospective project.

A table showing the Metzke's Find Resource host to 14,900 ounces of gold.

Metzke’s Find could alternatively provide a high-grade source for nearby processing facilities, and Dreadnought Managing Director Dean Tuck said it was a strong foundation for future discoveries and growth within a widely unexplored project.

“This represents the first ever Resource declared over any part of the Central Yilgarn Project which covers four greenstone belts,” he said.

We continue to view Central Yilgarn as having significant potential for gold and nickel which will be progressed in the background while we continue to focus on rare earths at Mangaroon.”

And its focus at Mangaroon is backed by the WA Government, with up to $220,000 in EIS co-funding to drill deeper into a fully owned project boasting a rising rare earth resource, high tenor Ni-Cu-PGE sulphides, and even more high-grade gold.

Dreadnought anticipate results of a nickel review over Central Yilgarn to come in next month, alongside ongoing drilling and metallurgical results, the return of a high-grade gold review and a rare earth resource upgrade at Mangaroon.
