Dreadnought Resources (ASX:DRE) intercept 100 metres of Mangaroon metal
Dreadnought Resources‘ infill drilling at Yin has turned in 68 more assays containing the thickest and highest NdPr to TREO to date from its Yin Ironstone discovery at Mangaroon in the Gascoyne.
Drilling to convert Dreadnought’s 50-100Mt at 0.9-1.3% TREO Exploration Target for the top 150m of Yin has continued to show a globally significant rare earth asset, and this round did not disappoint with a headline 100m @ 3.01% TREO strike and one intercept containing a metre holding 67% NdPr:TREO.
Dreadnought Managing Director Dean Tuck said drilling across just 10 per cent of Yin had continued to surprise with thicker, higher NdPr:TREO ratios and higher grades than its initial campaigns.
“Significantly, the infill drilling has started identifying areas within the original Yin Resource that contain higher NdPr:TREO ratios and thicker intercepts, both of which will be welcomed inclusions in our Resource update which remains on track for November,” Mr Tuck said.
“Drill intercepts from YINRC426 and YINRC402 are two of the thickest and most significant intercepts to date and YINRC371 delivering the highest NdPr:TREO mineralisation to date highlighting that infill drilling has delivered on the upside.”
Forward flow
The upgrade at Yin is now due as soon as next month, and Dreadnought will have a flow of significant news coming in right through to the end of the year.
Dreadnought has survey results from Central Yilgarn alongside DHEM and more assay results from Ni-Cu-PGE drilling at the Money Intrusion this month, and November will follow in with the Yin upgrade and further RC drilling on multiple Mangaroon commodities.
Results from target generation and definition work at Bresnahan Gold are also due next month, coming in alongside drilling results from Tarraji-Yampi and more assays from Mangaroon to close out an auspicious year for the proven discovery-maker.
