Desoto Resources is an Australian minerals explorer set on finding minerals in a proven province in the Northern Territory. The West Perth-headquartered company is a growth-focused project generator, and its board is peopled with explorers with a track record of finding minerals such as gold. The junior company’s main projects include the Fenix Lithium-Gold Project on Pine Creek Pegmatite Field in the Top End and the nearby Fenton Gold Project on Fenton Shear Zone. Fenix features a goldilocks lithium zone, and up to 800 parts per billion gold in soil samples. Gold hits from Fenton include up to 8.55g/t gold from limited drilling. In mid-2024 the company inked an agreement to snap up another Pine Creek project known as Spectrum, along Fenton Shear, where high-grade rare earths were intercepted historically. The ground also features a copper-lead-zinc anomaly.
