CleanSpace (ASX:CSX) gets clear air in the US

CleanSpace Holdings have struck its second deal into the world’s largest healthcare market, finalising a lucrative air purifying masks supply deal with Capstone Health Alliance, partner to the colossal Premier Inc boasting a US$3.74 billion market cap and representing well beyond 250 hospitals and 120 health systems across 24 US states.

The newly signed pact stands in place until the last month of 2025, including a commitment to minimum annual purchases and further building Cleanspace’s presence in North America, where the Australian supplier secured an exclusive national sales agreement with LineDrive last month.

CleanSpace interim Chief Executive Graham McLean said the deal underlined the strength of its group purchasing organisation relationships with Premier.

“We are looking forward to expanding our business with this major hospital and healthcare group to provide premium respiratory protection in this market,” he said.

Capstone Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing Tabitha Calloway said the company was committed to suppliers who bring innovative solutions and deliver value to its members.

“We are pleased that this partnership with CleanSpace will help provide our members with Respiratory Protection Solutions focused on improving caregiver safety and comfort. We look forward to a successful partnership,” she said.

CleanSpace Chair Bruce Rathie added that the deal represents another important step forward for its strategic growth initiatives within a US market worth US$808 billion as of 2021.

“We believe that CleanSpace’s advanced premium solutions for the protection of US healthcare workers will deliver material benefits such as staff retention, cost efficiencies and best-practice management of exposure risks,” he said.
