- Earthworks, pad preparation and lease access activities in progress
- Drilling program on track to commence in May 2026
- Sabres and Whalers wells to be drilled from a two-well pad

- Program forms part of ongoing development within core acreage
The current phase of activity is focused on early-stage site works, with earthworks, pad preparation and lease access activities now underway as the company advances the first step in executing its next phase of development drilling.
These activities are expected to continue over the coming weeks, with drilling scheduled to commence following the completion of site preparation and rig mobilisation, in line with the company’s stated May 2026 timeline.
The Sabres and Whalers wells will be drilled from a single two-well pad and will target the Sycamore and Woodford formations within the SWISH AOI, reflecting an approach that is consistent with Brookside’s focus on repeatable, multi-well development across its acreage, while also building on the performance of previous wells in the area as part of its ongoing development activities within its core position.
Brookside’s operations are situated within the Anadarko Basin in Oklahoma, where the company maintains a position in the SWISH play, which it describes as one of North America’s most productive hydrocarbon regions, alongside a growing production base, reserve inventory and drilling runway that underpin its broader development strategy.
Commenting on the operations, Managing Director and CEO David Prentice said,
“We’re back on the ground in the SWISH AOI with operations underway on our next pad. This has us on track to begin drilling in May. Results across our SWISH AOI have been consistent, and we remain focused on executing this next phase of the program efficiently.”
Operations are expected to continue as site preparation progresses and rig mobilisation is completed, with the next stage of activity centred on the commencement of drilling, and the company indicating that further updates will be provided as operations advance through each phase of the program toward drilling execution and subsequent reporting of progress.
