Antares Metals (ASX:AM5) reports high grade gold results and advances Quinns Drill Targets

Antares Metals has reported high grade gold results from rock chip sampling at its 100%-owned Quinns Gold and Copper Zinc VMS Project in Western Australia, with exploration work advancing targets at the Fennell, Finlay and Venture prospects.

Rock chip sampling returned results of up to 65.2 g/t Au from the Fennell Gold Prospect, with three targets advancing to maiden drill design.

Highlights

The results follow an expanded mapping and rock chip sampling program completed in June 2026, comprising 94 rock chip samples across historically worked areas within the Meekatharra greenstone belt tenure.

The program identified new gold mineralisation and extended known mineralisation across three historically worked areas, with assays ranging from below detection to 65.2 g/t Au.

At the Fennell Gold Prospect, sampling of shallow workings and outcropping quartz veins returned multiple high grade results, including QURK116 at 65.20 g/t Au, QURK083 at 16.63 g/t Au, QURK082 at 8.77 g/t Au and QURK093 at 4.38 g/t Au.

Mapping and sampling expanded the mineralised area from 130m to 250m in width, with mineralised quartz veins crosscutting the BIF contact over up to 150m of strike.

At the Finlay Gold Prospect, mapping identified shallow pits and shafts over a strike length of 90m, with results including QURK048 at 41.7 g/t Au, QURK055 at 2.27 g/t Au, QURK004 at 3.70 g/t Au and QURK150 at 1.67 g/t Au.

Additional untested quartz veins were also mapped southwest of the historical workings.

The Venture Prospect was identified through a soil geochemical program, with the target measuring 600m by 250m and containing two higher grade zones peaking at 1,570 ppb gold and 500 ppb gold.

The target is located southeast of the historic Enterprise Mine, with previously mined quartz veins trending towards the anomalous zone.

Antares Managing Director Terry Topping said,

“This recent work has delivered 65 g/t gold and has expanded the high grades at Fennell plus high grades at three more targets.”

The Quinns Project covers 383km² of the Meekatharra greenstone belt and includes 20km of belt strike that has not been tested with modern gold-focused exploration.

The company is undertaking a review of historical data alongside new field campaigns, applying geochemical and geophysical methods to complement direct sampling across areas of shallow cover.

The project is located approximately 10km from Monument Mining’s Burnakura Mill and approximately 50km from Westgold Resources’ operating mills.

Antares Metals’ next steps include completing heritage surveys and finalising drill targeting at Fennell, Finlay, Venture and the newly identified prospect ahead of maiden drilling at Quinns.

Planned drilling includes aircore testing at Venture and the shallow dry blowing target, with drilling also designed to test the high grade BIF-hosted structures at Fennell.
