American Uranium (ASX:AMU) completes Lo Herma drilling ahead of planned Mineral Resource Estimate update and Q3 Scoping Study
American Uranium has completed its drilling program at the Lo Herma ISR uranium project in Wyoming.
The Company said the final results confirmed continuity of uranium mineralisation within Mine Unit 1 and extended mineralised trends south of Mine Unit 2.
According to the announcement, the results are expected to materially support the planned Q3 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate update and Scoping Study through further conversion of Inferred Resources to Indicated classification.
Highlights
Drilling program completed across 50 holes for approximately 12,757m.
21 of 50 holes, or 42%, intersected mineralisation above the 0.02% eU₃O₈ grade cut off.
13 drill holes exceeded the target Grade Thickness of 0.2 GT.
Within the latest set of results, the best GT result was 0.99 over 6.9m at 0.044% eU₃O₈ from hole LH MW 005.
The best intercept for the whole program was 5.8m at an average of 0.056% eU₃O₈ in hole LH 26 026 for a GT of 1.06.
Drilling is expected to support conversion from Inferred to Indicated resources in Mine Units 1 and 2.
Updated Mineral Resource Estimate and Scoping Study targeted for Q3 2026.
The completed program comprised 29 infill drill holes at Mine Unit 1, 16 step out drill holes south of Mine Unit 2 and 5 hydrogeologic test wells installed at Mine Unit 1.
The drilling program was designed to convert Inferred Resources to Indicated classification within Mine Unit 1 and to expand resources south of Mine Unit 2.
The principal objective of the program was to increase resource confidence and support future development studies through resource conversion and targeted resource growth drilling.
By reducing drill spacing within Mine Unit 1 and extending mineralisation south of Mine Unit 2, the Company expects the results to support increased confidence in Lo Herma's Mineral Resource Estimate and the robustness of the planned Q3 2026 Scoping Study.
An additional objective was to install monitoring wells at Mine Unit 1 to support the next phase of hydrogeological studies.
Five monitor wells were completed through the production zone of the aquifer and provided additional resource datapoints.
Of the 50 drill holes completed during the program, 21 intercepted mineralisation meeting or exceeding the 0.02% eU₃O₈ grade cut off and 13 exceeded the target Grade Thickness of 0.2 GT.
Within the latest set of results, the strongest intercept was 6.9m at an average of 0.044% eU₃O₈ in hole LH MW 005 with a Grade Thickness of 0.99.
The best intercept for the whole program was 5.8m at an average of 0.056% eU₃O₈ in hole LH 26 026 with a Grade Thickness of 1.06.
The Company stated the results demonstrate strong continuity of roll front mineralisation across Mine Unit 1 and Mine Unit 2, with multiple stacked mineralised horizons contributing to strong GT outcomes.
Lo Herma is located in Converse County, Powder River Basin, Wyoming, approximately 15 miles north of the town of Glenrock and close to several permitted ISR uranium production facilities.
This drilling builds on the successful 66 hole campaign and interim resource update to 9.45Mlbs U₃O₈ reported to the ASX on 31 March 2026.
The Company said exploration and development drilling, together with hydrogeological and metallurgical testing, has been undertaken across Mine Unit 1, Mine Unit 2 and Mine Unit 3.

The Company is targeting completion of an updated Mineral Resource Estimate and Scoping Study during Q3 2026.
The announcement states that this drilling, together with the upcoming regional aquifer pump test program at Mine Unit 1, are designed to support Lo Herma's progression toward ISR mine development.
